ULTRA ART COMPETITION

ULTRA (Uplifting Langa Through Reachable Arts) is a biannual street arts competition in Langa. Beginning in 2013, this festival aims to build township pride and communalism through artistic expression and engagement. Artists from all over the Western Cape come to show off their work.

The event is open to all guests with free entrance, and any artists can apply to showcase and sell their work. There is not yet a specific date for this year’s event. However, to make the most of South Africa’s Tourism Heritage Month, ULTRA will take place sometime towards the end of September.
