About WoMAP

Women Are Power (WoMAP) was initiated amid the imposition of the Level 5 lockdown in response to the Covid outbreak. With the shift to an online environment, I observed a group of women disengaged and lacking resources and information. This realisation led to the inception of Women Are Power, driven by the goal of Empower to Empower.

Mission

We strongly believe in the transformative power of empowering women. Our ultimate mission is to create a world where every woman has the opportunity to thrive, succeed, and lead a fulfilling life. To achieve this goal, we offer a comprehensive range of services aimed at fostering women's empowerment in key areas like basic education, entrepreneurship, digital literacy, health, and wellness.

Our Programs

We customize our programs to meet the individual needs of each woman. Our programs sustainably equip women with the necessary skills and tools to help mitigate poverty, reduce women's unemployment and increase education levels throughout in the long term.

1. Digital Literacy:

In today's digital age, being literate in technology is crucial. Our digital literacy initiatives provide women with the skills to navigate the online world confidently. From basic computer skills to using digital tools for personal and professional development, we empower women to harness the power of technology.

2. Basic Education:

At the core of empowerment lies education. We provide access to quality basic education, ensuring that women have the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed decisions for themselves and their families. Our programs focus on literacy, numeracy, and life skills, laying the foundation for a brighter future.

3. Entrepreneurship:

We understand the significance of economic independence in empowering women. Our entrepreneurship programs equip women with the tools and knowledge to start and sustain successful businesses. From business planning to financial management, we support women in unlocking their entrepreneurial potential.

4. Health and Wellness Support:

A healthy and empowered woman is the cornerstone of a thriving community. Our health and wellness programs focus on physical, mental, and emotional well-being. We offer workshops and activities to help women prioritize self-care and make informed decisions about their health.
